New pastor installed at King of Glory

The Rev. Todd Payne will be installed as the new pastor at King of Glory Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m. Sun., Nov. 30 in the church sanctuary, 2500 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

Bishop Dean Nelson from the Southern California Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will officiate at the installation. A catered luncheon will follow the service.

Payne has been the visiting pastor at the church for the past 27 months. He has a bachelor's degree from William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and a master of divinity degree from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley.

Payne's wife, Stacy Payne, is pastor of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in West Hills.
