The Thousand Oaks Council on Aging will present a program honoring war veterans at 1 p.m. Wed., Nov. 5 in the board room on the third floor of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd

The program will feature Ventura County veterans' adviser Col. George Compton and Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks representative Judy Barton. She will discuss death benefits for veterans. A representative from Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 11395 will speak on the benefits of belonging to veterans organizations.

The program will be broadcast live on Public Access Channel 10.
