Seminar to discuss veterans' benefits

Senior Concerns Adult Day Center will host a seminar, "Veterans' Benefits: Do You Know if you are Eligible?" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., Nov. 11 at the center, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks.

Col. George Compton, Ventura County Veterans Service Officer, will discuss eligibility requirements, family and survivor benefits, veterans' facilities and how V.A. benefits work with other insurances. Time for questions and discussion will follow the presentation.

The seminar is one of a series funded in part by a grant from the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging.

The event is free and open to seniors and their caregiver families. Reservations will be accepted.
