Many Mansions will host the Bowls of Hope Project from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., Nov. 2 at Calamigos Ranch, 327 S. Latigo Canyon Road, Malibu.

The project is designed to spread awareness about the homeless, the need for affordable housing and the services that Many Mansions provides.

Each guest will select a bowl and proceed through a soup line where community leaders, local dignitaries, event sponsors and supporters will serve soups and breads donated by local restaurants and bakeries. Guests will be allowed to keep their bowls as mementos.

The event will also include live entertainment by folk musician Carly Escoto, an art gallery with pieces by local students and a silent auction.

Cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Many Mansions' adult and children's services.
