The Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library has teamed with the L.A. Opera Speakers Bureau for a series of three operatic presentations.

An Introduction to "Carmen" will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., Nov. 2 at the library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

The presentation will feature Phyline Novack Polakoff sharing the music of Bizet's "Carmen."

The library's other two presentations will introduce "The Magic Flute" on Jan. 4 and "La Traviata" on May 17.
