Sheriff's Blotter A male, 52, allegedly battered a woman by pushing her while she was holding a child. He was arrested on charges of domestic battery and child endangerment at 10:05 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 100 block of Via Ricardo. A male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license at 4:30 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road. Also at the scene, a 20yearold male was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol at 4 a.m. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 38, at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1200 block of Alessandro Drive; a male, 48, at 12:35 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 3700 block of Holloway Street; and a female, 22, at 1:45 a.m. Oct. 9 at the Palm Garden Inn at 495 N. Ventu Park Road. A male, 54, allegedly ran from police, threatened to harm them and kicked an officer while he was being arrested at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 3000 block of Alice Drive. Two people battered and injured a woman late on the night of Oct. 12 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive. A male, 49, was cited for child endangerment when he allegedly left his 11-year-old daughter home alone for one and a half hours at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 3700 block of Calle Mazatlan. A male, 27, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and obstructing justice at 10 p.m. Oct. 13 at Hillcrest Drive and Ventu Park Road. A fire detector meterwas stolen between Sept. 14 and Oct. 10 in the 2800 block of Borchard Road. Vandals damaged Banyan Park with markers and shoe polish on Oct. 8 ($450 in damage.) Property was stolen from a home on Oct. 8 in the 1300 block of Camino Cristobel. A coin box from a washing machine was forcibly removed between Sept. 28 and Oct. 11 in the Conejo Creek Condominiums. Burglars entered an unlocked vehicle and attempted to steal it before removing the in-dash stereo on Oct. 8 or 9 in the 1500 block of Pacino Circle. The damage estimate was $800. Property from a vehicle trunk was stolen on Sept. 11 in the first block of Amgen Way. The crime was recently reported. Paint balls caused damage to a vehicle on Oct. 8 at Reino Road and Maurice Drive. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Oct. 10 in the 3300 block of Michael Drive; Oct. 8 or 9 in the 3900 block of Barcelona Place; ($300 in damage); Oct. 11 in the 1200 block of Ramona Drive ($600 in damage, $120 in stolen property from two vehicles); Oct. 11 in the 1200 block of Ramona Drive; Oct. 11 in the 1600 block of Glenbrock Lane (window broken, purse stolen); Oct. 8 or 9 in the 3300 block of Gerald Drive; and Oct. 8 or 9 in the 800 block of Cayo Grande Court (windows smashed, property stolen, $600 in damage). Thousand Oaks A male, 34, was involved in a hitand-run collision and arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol at 11:24 p.m. Oct. 9 at Wilbur Court and Wilbur Road. A female, 35, was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of concentrated cannabis, marijuana, syringes and a glass pipe at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 49, at 10:36 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 100 block of Summerfield Avenue (subject was also charged with resisting arrest); a male, 20, at 8:35 a.m. Oct. 15 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 47, at 10:10 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street (subject also allegedly possessed a controlled sub-stance); a male, 53, at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 100 block of Summerfield Drive; a male, 54, at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 11 in the first block of Greenmeadow Avenue (subject also allegedly possessed a syringe); a male, 32, at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive; a male, 21, at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road; a male, 39, at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 10 at Crescent Way and Skyline Drive (subject allegedly possessed two baggies of a substance believed to be methamphetamine); a female, 46, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue; a male, 37, at noon Oct. 8 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hampshire Road; a female, 21, at 1:27 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road (subject also allegedly possessed controlled substances for sale); a female, 42, at 12:06 p.m. Oct. 8 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hampshire Road; a male, 47, at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a female, 35, at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 44, at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject allegedly possessed a bag of a substance believed to be methamphetamine). On a charge of battering his girlfriend during a domestic dispute, a male, 50, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Conejo Creek Park North. A female, 25, allegedly battered her boyfriend (he suffered multiple visible injuries to his face and torso) and was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Oct. 15 in the 500 block of Hollyburne Lane. A female, 20, was arrested on charges of battering and injuring her boyfriend at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road. A male, 27, was arrested and charged with battering his estranged wife at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 3300 block of Camino Calandria. At the scene, a female, 26, was arrested and charged with domestic battery for allegedly slapping a man at 4:50 p.m. that same day in the 1800 block of Orinda Court. On a charge of domestic violence, a female, 36, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 500 block of Houston Drive. A female, 42, was arrested and charged with trespassing, prowling and being drunk in public at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 600 block of Paige Lane. For allegedly threatening to kill someone during an argument, a male, 54, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1400 block of Calle Madraselva. A female, 20, was arrested on charges of forging and passing stolen checks at a local business at 9 a.m. Oct. 14 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station. A male, 42, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 1:20 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 2600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. For possessing a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle, a male, 21, was cited at 1:50 a.m. Oct. 10 at Moorpark Road and Wilbur Road. A male, 21, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 3:43 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive. A male, 23, was cited for a similar incident at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 9 in the same block, while another male, 51, was cited for drinking in public at the same time and place. A vandal broke a door with an unknown object ($400 in damage) between Oct. 10 and 13 at Colina Middle School. Four books were stolen from the library during the same time. On Oct. 9, a burglar entered a secured building at the school and stole money. The soccer ball netting was cut down at Wildflower Playfields on Oct. 14 or 15. The damage estimate was $250. Burglars broke into Aspen Elementary School through the windows and stole property belonging to the school and four teachers on Oct. 3 or 4. A political sign was stolen from someone's front yard on Oct. 14 or 15 in the 1400 block of Warwick Avenue. A similar incident occurred between 7:55 and 8:05 a.m. Oct. 8 in the 3200 block of Calle Quebracho and between 6:30 and 9:15 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 1400 block of Feather Avenue. White paint was splattered on a political sign in someone's backyard on Oct. 13 or 14 in the 600 block of Camino Verde. A political sign was damaged and a vehicle was vandalized with unintelligible spray-painted letters on Oct. 10 or 11 in the 1200 block of Calle Almendro. The damage estimate is $300. Shoplifters stole several highend alcohol containers in wine carriers from Albertsons on Avenida de Los Arboles around 8:45 p.m. Oct. 13. In an incident around 6:40 p.m. Oct. 8 at the store, $397.88 in property was stolen. Around 5:20 p.m. Oct. 9, someone stole property valued at $139.96. About $500 in property was damaged on Oct. 11 in the 4300 block of Rayburn Street. More than $400 in property was stolen on Oct. 9 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A business was burglarized on Oct. 8 or 9 in the 600 block of E. Janss Road. Graffiti vandals caused $100 in damage to property between Oct. 10 and 12 in the 3300 block of Medicine Bow Court. A vandal caused $348 in property damage and stole something worth about $4 on Oct. 9 or 10 in the 1300 block of La Granada Drive. Gang-related graffiti caused property damage between Oct. 4 and 12 in the 1300 block of Corte de Primavera. Graffiti resulted in $25 in property damage on Oct. 11 in the 2000 block of Brookfield Drive. A burglar broke into Loehmann's store on W. Hillcrest Drive with the intent to steal property between 8 and 8:10 p.m. Oct. 11. A home was burglarized during daytime on Oct. 14 in the 2000 block of Young Avenue. The burglars forced their way through the kitchen window. Burglars ransacked and stole property from a home during daytime on Oct. 8 in the 1200 block of Calle Yucca. A home was also burglarized on Oct. 8 in the 1900 block of Erbes Road. Mail was stolen from a mailbox between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 1600 block of Calle de Oro. A vandal caused $401 in damage to a vehicle on Oct. 9 in the 400 block of Rolling Oaks Drive. A male, 20, was arrested on charges of burglary, being an active member of a gang and obstructing justice at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road. A male, 46, was arrested and charged with using a government seal to make fraudulent documents at 8 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 1800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. About $35,000 worth of copper wire was stolen from Taft Electric Company between Sept. 22 and Oct. 3 at the southbound 23 Freeway at Hillcrest Drive. Bricks were thrown through car windows (more than $400 in damage) on Oct. 11 or 12 in the first block of Summerfield Court. Vandals threw eggs at vehicles and a garage ($350 in damage) between 10 and 10:05 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 1800 block of El Monte Drive. A vehicle break-in occurred between Aug. 13 and 24 in the 200 block of Hiram Avenue. The crime was recently reported. On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 27, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road. Three males—ages 30, 51 and 56—were cited for drinking in public at La Paz Park between 6:40 and 9:30 p.m. Westlake/T.O. A male, 58, was arrested and charged with battering someone during a domestic dispute at 2 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 2000 block of Dewberry Court.
