Sheriff's Blotter On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 44, at 2:10 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic accident); a male, 50, at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 5 at the northbound 101 Freeway and Wendy Drive; a female, 44, at 9:57 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision in the 2700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive); a male, 40, at 10:32 p.m. Oct. 3 on Ocotillo Avenue south of Adrian Street; a male, 52, at 6:05 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road; a male, 42, at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject was reportedly sitting in his truck drinking alcohol); a male, 20, at 9 a.m. Oct. 2 at Lynn Road and Reino Road (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); and a male, 21, at 9 p.m. Oct. 6 at Wendy and Ruth drives (subject was allegedly driving with his headlights off in the dark). A female, 20, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 30 at Avenida de La Plata and Calle Diamonte. A male, 23, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Sycamore Canyon School was vandalized between Sept. 19 and 22. Shoplifting occurred between 2:30 and 2:50 p.m. Oct. 6 at a business in the 1500 block of Newbury Road. A public restroom was vandalized ($200 damage) on Oct. 3 or 4 in the 1100 block of Knollwood Drive. Property was stolen from a backyard between Sept. 23 and Oct. 3 in the 800 block of S. Danvers Circle. A female, 20, was cited for possessing marijuana and Xanax at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 2600 block of Elmira Street. Another female, 19, was also cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at the same location. A vehicle break-in occurred on Oct. 3 or 4 in the 3500 block of Lesser Drive. Thousand Oaks On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 20, at 2:15 a.m. Oct. 7 at Moorpark Road and Rolling Oaks Drive; a female, 43, at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 3 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Canna Street; a male, 22, at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 5 in the first block of Conejo Boulevard; a male, 28, at 6:12 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 600 block of Hodencamp Road; a male, 50, at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; and a male, 23, at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 600 block of Old Farm Road. A female, 25, allegedly stole someone's purse and registration sticker and was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 500 block of W. Stafford Road. The subject allegedly possessed and was under the influence of a controlled substance. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 53, at 12:45 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street; a male, 44, at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject reportedly possessed 8.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine); a female, 44, at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas; a male, 24, at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Wilbur Road; a male, 35, at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at Big Sky Circle and Bright Star Street; a male, 18, at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue (subject also allegedly possessed medication without a prescription); a male, 21, at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue (subject allegedly possessed syringes and a switchblade knife); a female, 51, at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Olsen Road and the 23 Freeway; a female, 46, at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue; and a male, 35, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 n the 700 block of N. Moorpark Road. A male, 39, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 25 on the northbound 23 Freeway and Hillcrest Drive and charged with possessing a vial of a substance believed to be methamphetamine. A male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of being under the nfluence of a controlled substance at 9 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue. Another male, 30, was arrested and charged with identity theft at the same time and location. A male, 28, was arrested for alleged cruelty to an animal at 2:40 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. A female, 38, was arrested for allegedly battering her husband (causing minor scratches) at noon Oct. 5 in the 700 block of Modego Place. A male, 22, was arrested on charges of domestic battery and trespassing at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road. For allegedly having sex with a minor under the age of 16, a male, 26, was arrested at 12:45 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 300 block of Erbes Road. A female, 21, allegedly robbed a bicyclist and threatened that person with physical harm around 9:43 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. For reportedly committing arson and vandalism by burning heated paper towels in a microwave at Vons at 1790 N. Moorpark Road, a male, 18, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Sept. 30. A male, 35, was arrested and charged with stealing a vehicle at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 30 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station. A male, 19, was arrested and charged with possessing a deadly weapon (metal knuckles) at 6:43 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino. A home was burglarized on Oct. 8 in the 2700 block of Cedar Wood Place. On a charged of shoplifting less than $400 in merchandise, a male, 21, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road. Movie tickets and cash were stolen from the school store at Colina Middle School between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1. A purse was stolen between Feb. 1 and March 1 in the 500 block of W. Stafford Road. The crime was recently reported. A shoplifter entered Best Buy on Moorpark Road, unwrapped a video game package, removed the game disc, put it in his pocket and attempted to leave the store without paying for the item around 5 p.m. Oct. 2. A female, 91, was cited for being nvolved in a hit-and-run traffic collision at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 30 at Wellesly Drive, north of Waverly Heights Drive. A juvenile subject allegedly battered a victim then vandalized property around midnight on Oct. 2 in the 1300 block of Calle de Oro. Two females and three males between the ages of 18 and 24 were cited for being involved in several acts of vandalism in the city on Sept. 23 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station. Property was stolen on the following dates and places: Between Oct. 3 and 7 in the 2500 block of Townsgate Road; on Oct. 3 or 4 in the 2500 block of Townsgate Road (four businesses, two were attempted burglaries); and between Oct. 5 and 7 in the 100 block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A shoplifter stole items from Vons at 1790 N. Moorpark Road around noon on Oct. 7. Property ($300) was damaged on Oct. 6 or 7 in the 2400 block of Pleasant Way. A handmade political sign was stolen from a front yard on Oct. 1 in the 3200 block of Luther Street. Graffiti vandalism defaced property ($50) around 1:15 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 3 and 3:45 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 3500 block of N. Moorpark Road (burglar broke into two cars by breaking windows and stole purses); on Oct. 6 or 7 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (windows smashed on two vehicles); on Oct. 6 or 7 in the 5600 block of Hazelcrest Circle (unlocked); between Sept. 6 and Oct. 6 in the 1500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between 3 and 5 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (unlocked); and on Oct. 2 in the 2500 block of N. Moorpark Road (window broken). Police received a call about a man vomiting in someone's driveway. A male, 20, was reportedly found lying in the gutter covered in vomit. He was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 12:55 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 2900 block of Rollings Avenue. The following subjects were cited for drinking alcohol in public: Three males between the ages of 36 and 39, 3:30 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; and a male, 29, at 5:04 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Westlake /T.O. A male, 38, allegedly battered someone on the head, and that person broke an ankle attempting to flee. The man was arrested and charged at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 5 at Lang Ranch Parkway and Westlake Boulevard. An unknown person allegedly used a vehicle to commit an assault that was likely to produce great bodily harm around 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at The Promenade. Petty theft occurred between 6:55 and 9:20 p.m. Oct. 1 at Agoura Road and Westlake Boulevard. Property was stolen Oct. 2 in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive. Police RSS feed |
