ENCOURAGING KIDS TO PLAY- - Fitness and sports director David DeMaio will distribute footballs and basketballs during Sunday's Rotary Street Fair on Moorpark Road in T.O. while promoting sign-ups for athletic programs at Redwood, Colina, Sequoia and Los Cerritos middle schools. Weekend leagues will be offered to kids ages 3 to 14 and weekday leagues for kids 11 to 14. Costs range from $55 to $100. The new athletic programs are the result of a recent $27,000 donation from Dole Foods Inc. For details, call DeMaio at (818) 706-0905, ext. 111.
