Variety of activities set for Oct. 26

The sixth annual Westlake City Celebration will be from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Sun., Oct. 26 at the city Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.

•Triunfo YMCA will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The menu is pancakes, sausage and orange juice for $4 per person.

•The Celebration Run has 5K and 10K races as well as a 1-mile run and walk.

The runs will begin and end at the Civic Center and travel a scenic course. All runners will receive a free pancake breakfast after the race and a ticket to one Fun Fair attraction.

•White Oak Elementary School will host a White Oak PFC Fun Fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with inflatables, rides, activities and game booths.

•The Triunfo YMCA Teen Program, Youth and Government will host a "G" rated Haunted House in the community room to help support Y teen programs.

•New this year is a Harvest Boutique from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 20 local artisans will sell personalized children's CDs, books, toys, jewelry, clothing, purses, accessories, gourmet food, stationery, handcrafted items and more.

•The Friends of the Westlake Village Library will sponsor a free magic show at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
