A Halloween event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sun., Oct. 26 at Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

The event will include face painting, trick-or-treating, crafts, cupcake walks and storytellers.

Attendees are invited to wear costumes and bring their alreadycarved pumpkins for a jackolantern contest. Pumpkins will be judged for best, scariest and most unusual, and all the jackolanterns will be lit at 3:30 p.m.

The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children.
