Serving In Uniform

Marine Corps Cpl. Christopher J. Sparks recently completed a seven-month deployment to Al Anbar province, Iraq. He is a 2003 graduate of Westlake High School and joined the Marine Corps in January 2006. He is the son of Mary and Ronald Parker of Westlake Village.

Preston B. Collich graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. He is a student at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, and the son of George Collich of Princeton, Texas, and Deborah Pierce of Westlake Village.
