Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) will host a Halloween event from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Sat., Oct. 25 at the Thousand Oaks Community Center, 2525 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event will include a Halloween Trail hike, open from 7:15 to 10 p.m., a hayride, pony rides, petting zoo, reptile show and children's costume contest. A trickor-treat street will open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 the day of the event.

Families may bring a carved pumpkin to enter in a jack-o-lantern contest. Entry is $2 per pumpkin.
