The Ventura County West Valley chapter of TRIO (Transplant Recipients International Organization) will meet at 7 p.m. Fri., Oct. 17 at the Baxter Building, 1 Baxter Way, Westlake Village.

The guest speaker will be Randall Heyn-Lamb, RN, BSN, OPTC. He will discuss organ distribution and selection. HeynLamb is a clinical transplant coordinator at USC University Hospital, Cedars Sinai Medical Center and UC Irvine.

There will be a questionandanswer segment, and refreshments will be provided.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
