Haunted house expands to meet demands
      Allhallows Eve approaches. As darkness settles into the hills surrounding a small Thousand Oaks neighborhood, the air fills with screams, thunder crashes and fog billows up around gargoyles perched above revelers at the Reign of Terror (ROT) Haunted House.

New West Symphony appoints vice president
      The New West Symphony announces the appointment of Timothy Smith as vice president of the board of directors for the Conejo Valley area. Smith is a founding partner of Advance Insurance Solutions in Westlake Village. He formerly was a professor at Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula and holds a doctorate from University of Notre Dame.
