YMCA honors Auto Mall

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA will hold its 11th annual Leadership Award Banquet at 5 p.m. Sat., Oct. 18 at Moorpark Country Club, 11800 Championship Drive, Moorpark.

The annual leadership award is given to individuals or businesses that stand out in the community for their generosity, community awareness and leadership. The Thousand Oaks Auto Mall Association will receive the award this year for its support of numerous schools, sports programs and charities.

Tickets are $175. Proceeds will be used to provide financial assistance to those in need to participate in YMCA programs, including before- and after-school child care, camping, youth sports, parent/child programs, and youth and government.
