Kiss It Goodbuy Inc. Celebrates 5 Years

Kiss It Goodbuy Inc. in Thousand Oaks is celebrating five years in the resale market.

Opened in 2003 by Nanci Insul and her mother Barbara Cohen, Kiss It Goodbuy Inc. is an eBay store power seller.

"We've sold everything from used designer handbags to a set of four bobble-head Beatles dolls that sold for over $10,000," said Insul, who runs the store with the help of two veteran employees.

Although the business began as a place for people to bring their unwanted antiques and collectibles, it has branched out into the real estate market.

"Nanci has had her real estate license for 18 years and been a broker for 10 years, so while she sells your home we can also take care of liquidating your estate items through a complete and compassionate process," said Pam O'Gorman, one of the store's eBay specialists who is in the process of getting her real estate license.

The store has handled the liquidation of two local stores and also can help with fundraisers for local schools and charities. People being hit by the hard economy, rising living costs and the loss of employment are finding the store the place to bring everything from antiques to fine jewelry.

"We'll sell our customers' highend crystal, fine jewelry, sterling silver flatware, highend designer items such as handbags and sunglasses, collectibles and so much more," said Connie Wade, the store's other eBay specialist.
