Financial aid night coming

Workshops on how to obtain financial aid for college will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sat., Oct. 18 at the Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road; Wed., Oct. 22 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road; and Thurs., Oct. 23 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

The workshop is hosted by National College Planners and will discuss how to send students to school without going broke, how to double or triple eligibility for financial aid, how to find scholarships and grants, how to pick a college with good financial aid packages and how to fill out financial aid applications accurately and on time.

Admission is free, but seating is limited.
