Newbury Park

A female, 50, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 21 at Lynn Road and Lotus Avenue.

A male, 48, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 10:10 p.m. Sept. 20 at Ventu Park Road and the 101 Freeway. The subject also allegedly possessed a hypodermic needle.

A male, 18, possessed burglary tools and alcohol at 3:05 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Reino Road.

For allegedly stealing property belonging to a business, a male, 36, was arrested at 11 p.m. Sept. 22 at Hillcrest Drive and Kalinda Place.

A vandal allegedly caused $1,000 in damage on Sept. 23 or 24in the first block of N. Wendy Drive. A similar crime occurred ($500 damages) in the 300 block of N. Los Vientos Drive on Sept. 23 or 24.

Someone's paycheck was stolen between Sept. 15 and 19 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.

A wallet was stolen between 4 and 4:04 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road.

A bicycle was stolen between 8 and 8:50 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 100 block of Reino Road.

Property was stolen in the 700 block of Lois Avenue on Sept. 24 or 25. A similar crime occurred Sept. 22 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

Construction equipment was stolen from a storage container on Sept. 18 or 19 at Rancho Dos Vientos and Via El Cerro. A similar crime occurred on Sept. 18 or 19 in the 5500 block of Via Bonita.

Thousand Oaks

A male, 23, allegedly choked and kicked a woman during a domestic dispute. After leaving the scene of the crime in the 1400 block of Torrey Pine Court, the subject text messaged her and allegedly threatened to kill her. The subject was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 1300 block of Ramona Drive.

A 46-year-old man's vehicle struck a police officer while two deputies attempted to stop him for a noise violation. The subject was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, and he was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Sept. 19 at Pennsfield Place and Wilbur Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 39, at 10 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; a male, 48, at 9:25 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue (subject reportedly didn't have a driver's license and possessed false government documents); a male, 39, at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Gainsborough Road and Warwick Avenue (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision); a female, 47, at 2:55 a.m. Sept. 20 at Avenida de Los Arboles, east of Erbes Road; and a female, 20, in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (subject was reportedly involved in a traffic collision and possessed marijuana).

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 49, at noon on Sept. 24 at Calle Tulipan and Calle Retama; a male, 20, at 5:40 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 300 block of Green Meadow Avenue; a male, 39, at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 17 in the 700 block of Brossard Drive (subject allegedly possessed a glass methamphetamine pipe); a female, 46, at 7:10 p.m. Sept. 18 at Hampshire and Townsgate roads (subject allegedly possessed heroin, cocaine and medicine without a prescription); a male, 18, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in the the600 block of Hampshire Road; a male, 51,and a female, 33, around 9 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 2500 block of Avenida de Las Plantas; a male, 27, and a female, 19, at 10:52 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 500 block of Juniper Court; a female, 35, at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 20 at Gainsborough Road and Dover Avenue; a male, 50, at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 2400 block of Calle Retama; a male, 37, at 4 a.m. Sept. 17 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gardens (reportedly subject possessed a methamphetamine pipe and his urine tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana use); and a female, 35, at 4 a.m. recently at Thousand Oaks Community Park (subject reportedly possessed a methamphetamine pipe and had marijuana in her wallet and a substance believed to be methamphetamine in a vial on one of her key chains).

A male, 51, was arrested on suspicion of being a fugitive on the run from the law in Nevada—and he was also ticketing for parking in the red zone—at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 19 in front of the Ralphs grocery store on Moorpark and Janss roads.

A male, was arrested and charged with growing and possessing marijuana to sell at 4 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 900 block of Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 24, allegedly hit and caused traumatic injury to his girlfriend and used force to prevent her from leaving their home. The subject was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive.

On a charge of challenging someone to a fight in public and attempting to hit someone with a tree branch, a male, 51, was arrested at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 19. The subject also allegedly possessed a small amount of marijuana.

During a physical altercation, a victim was hit on the head with a beer bottle, causing injury, after midnight on Sept. 18 in the 1200 block of Calle Tulipan.

A male, 38, allegedly attempted to return merchandise for cash that an accomplice had stolen a short time earlier from the same store. He was arrested at 8 p.m. Sept. 17 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. His accomplice, a female, 30, was also arrested and charged with burglary, obstructing justice and conspiracy to commit a crime.

A male, 19, was arrested and charged with burglary and petty theft at 8:25 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

On suspicion of possessing a stolen DVD/CD player, a male, 19, was arrested at 5 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 300 block of Flittner Circle.

A female, 20, was cited for fraudulent use of a credit card at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22 in the 600 block of Paige Lane.

On a charge of resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer, a male, 20, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 20 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A male, 51, reportedly lied to police about his identity and was also arrested for two misdemeanor warrants at 1 a.m. Sept. 20 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station.

For not returning found property to its rightful owner, a male, 27, was cited at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 19 in the first block of Fairview Road.

A female, 47, was arrested on a charge of grand theft at 11:35 a.m. Sept. 18 in the 1400 block of Calle Violeta Street.

A male, 22, fled on a motorcycle without a helmet or proper registration while attempting to evade officers around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 2900 block of Theresa Drive.

A male, 27, was arrested on suspicion of walking around the Los Robles Hospital parking lot drunk at 11 p.m. Sept. 20.

A male, 25, allegedly passed out drunk in someone's front yard around 1:10 a.m .Sept. 1 in the 2300 block of Calle Mimosa. He was arrested and charged with being drunk in public. Another male, 35, was arrested on the same charge at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A utility cart from a construction site was stolen on Sept. 19 or 20 in the 200 block of Hillcrest Drive.

A coin box in a laundry room was broken in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue between Sept. 21 and 24.

A burglar entered a garage and stole tools between Sept. 16 and 21 in the 1000 block of Drexel Circle.

A thief (captured on video) stole someone's flag at 12:23 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 400 block of E. Sidlee Street.

Two thieves whose descriptions were provided to authorities stole more than $400 in merchandise from Victoria's Secret at 222 W. Hillcrest Drive between 5:22 and 7:28 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Fraudulent use of an access card was reported at Wells Fargo bank at 3965 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard at 10:10 a.m. Sept. 16. A similar crime was reported on Sept. 18 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. In yet another case, $1,454.49 was incorrectly charged to someone's access card between June 1 and Sept. 13 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen near the northbound 23 Freeway and Avenida de Las Flores on Sept. 19.

A home was burglarized on Sept. 17 in the 500 block of Lotus Avenue.

Property from the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden was stolen between Sept. 16 and 19.

A vandal spray painted a smiling face on a light pillar on Sept. 20 or 21 in the 1600 block of Windy Mountain Avenue.

Graffiti led to property damage at Wells Fargo bank at 220 N. Moorpark Road between Sept. 19 and 21.

A purse was stolen from a woman while she was working on Sept. 23 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

More than $400 in piping was stolen on Sept. 15 or 16 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A vandal spray painted a sound wall with graffiti between Aug. 30 and Sept. 18 in the 1600 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Graffiti defaced property in the 1700 block of Misty Creek Road on Sept. 20 or 21.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Sept. 20 or 21 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (passenger window broken, glove box was opened and several items were moved); and on Sept. 20 or 21 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (unlocked).

A car tire was slashed on Sept. 19 or 20 in the 1500 block of Burning Tree Drive.

A vehicle window was smashed ($350 in damages) on Sept. 16 or 17 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 43, was involved in a single vehicle, noninjury collision and arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 22 at Westlake Boulevard and Cascade Avenue.

A digital projector from a hotel conference room was stolen between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Property was stolen between 7:15 and 8:40 a.m. Sept. 17 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A male, 18, tried to punch someone and then kicked that person's vehicle around 7 p.m. recently in the 100 block of N. Lakeview Canyon Road.
