October fun coming to Underwood Family Farms

Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark presents a variety of activities for the annual Fall Festival.

•The fifth annual Wild West Weekend will be Sat. and Sun., Oct. 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The weekend will be filled with Wild West entertainment such as stunt ropers, gun fighters, cowboy poets, medicine men, and Sourdough Slim on the Main Stage.

New this year is the renowned Cowboy Magician Lincoln Band.

•Every weekend following, live bands, such as CRV, Acadiana, Last Call, and The Catterwailers, will perform from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local performers and surprise guests will be presented on the Harvest Stage until 5 p.m.

•The second annual Antique Tractor Weekend will be Sat. and Sun., Oct. 11 and 12, with antique tractors, farm equipment and motors, demonstrations, tractor parade and a display of John Deere's newest tractors.

•New this year is Bluegrass Weekend on Sat. and Sun., Oct. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Throughout the weekend, bands from Los Angeles and Ventura counties will perform in rotating sets.

The farm is at 3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark.
