Jewish Genealogical Society to meet

The Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County will hold a meeting from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sun., Oct. 5 at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Experienced members of the group will lead small groups of attendees in roundtable discussions. There will be two 45-minute sessions, enabling attendees to participate in two discussions.

Topics include American research, JewishGen, German research, getting started with research, Lithuanian research, Polish research and how to write a book.

There is no charge to attend the meeting. Anyone may join the group. Annual dues are $25 for individuals and $30 for families.
