I'm responding to the Sept. 18 Acorn editorial that said the school board's 3-2 decision to close Meadows and University elementary schools, while mishandled, was necessary. The opinion suggests that I, as one of the candidates running for the school board to reverse this decision, am just trying to impress the voters who don't know any better. More ... I'm opposed to increasing class sizes since we already have the largest class sizes in the nation. Our high schools have 38 to 42 students per teacher. If we are to continue doing a great job of educating our children, we must close two schools. More ... Tina Aschenbrenner Sandoval proved Mike Dunn was right. He was right about the CTA agenda.
