The Child Development Institute will host the seventh annual CDI Charity Golf Classic on Fri., Oct. 3 at the Lost Canyons Golf Club, 3301 Lost Canyons Drive, Simi Valley.

Daniel "Rudy" Ruttiger of the University of Notre Dame will be the honoree and keynote speaker. The event host is Nathan Corddry of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."

The event includes barbecue lunch, prime rib/salmon dinner, golfer gift bag, wine, and silent and live auctions.

The Child Development Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the needs of infants and children who are at risk for developmental delay and disabilities by providing therapy and educational support.
