CLU students volunteer

California Lutheran University students will volunteer in Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties as part of the school's annual Service Day on Sun., Sept. 27.

The "One Day of Service" event reflects CLU's mission to educate students to be committed to service and justice in a global society. Faculty, staff and alumni will also participate.

The school's community service center has organized volunteer opportunities with Malibu Creek State Park, Kitten Rescue, the Humane Society, the Santa Barbara Zoo, Gull Wings Children's Museum, Easter Seals, Our Place Shelter, FOOD Share, University Village Thousand Oaks, Conejo Valley YMCA, the American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity.
