YMCA starts new session of Model United Nations

The Triunfo YMCA is starting a new session of its Model United Nations designed for children in grades six through eight. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 2 at Sumac Elementary School, 6050 N. Calmfield Ave., Agoura Hills.

The Model United Nations is part of the YMCA's Youth and Government program. Participants represent countries and take part in two multiday conferences with other YMCAs from across the state. More than 600 children participate in California.

Cost is included in Triunfo YMCA membership. Annual membership is $40 for individuals and $80 for families.
