August sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 150. This compares to 121 sold a year ago, according to Patti Hepple, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

Median sales price for single-family homes in August 2008 was $682,539; in 2007 it was $768,939.

The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in August were $145 million; forAugust 2007 the total was $158.3 million.
