The Westlake Village Junior Women's Club will hold its annual social for prospective members at 7:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 2 at a private home in Westlake Village.

The event is a way for women interested in the club to meet members and collect information.

Membership in the club is open for all women from the greater Conejo Valley area interested in community service. Members work to raise money for local charities and volunteer on a regular basis for Meals on Wheels and to cook for the hungry and homeless.
