Danny Mathews and Dylan White, juniors at Oaks Christian, received outstanding racing performance awards from the Pacific Corinthian Youth Sailing Foundation at the annual awards ceremony in August at Channel Islands Harbor.

Mathews received the highest overall award for Outstanding Racing Performance 2008 CFJ skipper.

His crew partner, Sage Behan of Camarillo, also received an outstanding racing performance award. In addition, Mathews and Behan won a number of racing ribbons as skipper/crew of lasers and FJs during the fivesession summer program.

White received the award for Session Four Outstanding CFJ Performance.
