Thousand Oaks

A male, 58, was involved three separate traffic collisions near Moorpark and Wilbur roads around 4:16 p.m. Sept. 4. A person in one of the collisions was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. The subject fled the scene of each accident before he was apprehended in the 5600 block of De Soto Avenue in Woodland Hills at 4:50 p.m. the same afternoon.

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 33, at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 5 at Westlake Blvd. and the 101 Freeway; a female, 23, at 2:38 a.m. Sept. 3 on Lynn Road, south of Calle Laredo; and a male, 73, at 11:10 p.m. Sept. 6 on Westlake Boulevard in the vicinity of Hampshire Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 61, at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 1300 block of Uppingham Drive; a male, 38, at 9 a.m. Sept. 4 in the 200 block of Calle Jazmin; a female, 32, at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 600 block of Rio Grande Circle; a male, 47, at 2:35 p.m. Sept. 4 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Olsen Road; a male, 48, at 12:41 p.m. Sept. 5 on E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. and Conejo School Road (subject also possessed a false 2009 year tab on his vehicle); two females, ages 35 and 30, around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street; and a male, 48, at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 8 at Gainsborough Road and Sheffield Place.

A male, 42, allegedly battered someone, causing visible injuries to the victim's right knee and left shin, and he was subsequently arrested at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 8 at a gas station at Moorpark and Wilbur roads. The subject also vandalized police property in the interview room.

A female, 31, allegedly committed domestic violence against her estranged husband at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 3200 block of Cherrywood Drive.

A female, 46, allegedly verbally threatened a senior citizen and caused unnecessary mental suffering around 9:17 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 1300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 35, allegedly violated a restraining order by living with the victims for the past 30 days and also allegedly vandalized their vehicle in the 100 block of Conejo School Road. The subject was arrested on Sept. 8 in the 2300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

A male, 32, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 9 at Oakbrook Drive and Burning Tree Drive. Near the scene in the 1700 block of Burning Tree Drive, a female, 26, was also cited for battering her boyfriend during an argument, and charged with domestic battery.

A documented and registered male gang member, 18, was reportedly drinking alcohol in public and fled on foot to avoid arrest around 8 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 900 block of Warwick Avenue. At the Thousand Oaks Police Station, the subject scratched out a rival gang's name on an interview room table. Another male at the scene, also 18, was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and resisting arrest.

A male, 21, allegedly violated a restraining order by driving by and looking at another person in his or her home at 11:37 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.

A burglar broke into La Reina High School and stole $1,200 in valuables during daytime on Sept. 6.

A burglar attempted to break into a home between 12:55 and 1:03 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 2300 block of Mountain Crest Circle.

Burglars broke into St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School's storage shed, stole property and then vandalized other property with gang graffiti between Sept. 5 and 8.

A male, 18, drove into two parked cars and fled the scene of the noninjury collision in the 700 block of Old Farm Road just before midnight on Sept. 4.

A male, 18, allegedly possessed marijuana packaged for sales and a controlled substance without a prescription at 10 p.m. Sept. 4 at Avenida de Las Flores and Birchdale Road.

A male, 23, possessed more than 30 grams of marijuana, while text messages on his cellphone showed that the subject intended to sell it at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at Orinda Court and Moss Court.

For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a female, 35, was cited at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 2300 block of Burr Circle.

Somebody allegedly deprived 13 animals of necessary water and shelter, and was charged with cruelty to animals on Aug. 27 in the 200 block of Almon Drive. No name was released in the report.

Two males, 46 and 45, were cited for trespassing and charged at the Thousand Oaks Police Station on Sept. 8.

For possessing a reproduced driver's license, a male, 19, was cited in The Oaks mall parking lot on Sept. 9.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 49, at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and a female, 36, at 9:45 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: A male, 47, at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 5 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 37, at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Gang-related graffiti was discovered on the Avenida de Las Flores overpass to the 23 Freeway on Sept. 5.

A coin box from a laundry room was broken into between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4 in the 600 block of McCloud Avenue.

Property was stolen on the following dates and locations: Between June 1 and Aug. 26 in the 2100 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores ($2,345); between Feb. 16 and March 5 in the 2100 block of La Granada Drive; and on Sept. 2 or 3 in the 3500 block of Auto Mall Drive.

Property was damaged on Sept. 5 or 6 in the 800 block of Briarcliff Drive.

A burglar broke into an unlocked vehicle and stole $536 in valuables on Sept. 3 or 4 in the 200 block of Wilbur Road.

A burglar attempted to steal a vehicle before vandalizing the indash stereo, causing $1,200 in total damages between Aug. 20 and Sept. 6 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Auto parts valued at more than $400 were stolen on Sept. 7 or 8 in the 300 block of Judy Court.
