Palin remark sends the wrong message
2008-09-18 / Letters
In my opinion, GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin shouldn't have publicized her 17-year-old's pregnancy. If asked, she should have said, "It's none of your business."
To say she and her husband are "looking forward to being grandparents" sends a strange message and is confusing to other teenagers.
Her rule of abstinence won't work for sexually active teens, which is obviously the case in point. Elinor Gustafson Thousand Oaks
