Botanist to give presentation in Thousand Oaks

Botanist Charles Hohn will give a presentation at 2 p.m. Sat., Sept. 20 at the National Park Visitor Center, 401 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The presentation, "Going Native in Your Garden," will discuss a variety of plant and grass suggestions, tips on planting and maintaining native plants and demonstrations.

Hohn has a degree in environmental horticulture with an emphasis on California native plant botany and ecology from University of California, Davis.
