Wins Gold Award
BELIEVES IN SERVICE WORK- Amber Nicole Schneider, 17, a senior at Newbury Park High School and member of Girl Scout Troop No. 61070 of the Rancho Sierra Vista Service Unit, has won the Gold Award, the highest in Girl Scouts. She gave more than 75 hours to her service project, "Fun For Felines," when she used recycled ice cream tubs from her workplace and turned them into cat beds for Pet Stop Pet Rescue. She also taught young Girl Scouts how to make the beds. Amber has helped Pet Stop Pet Rescue for the past six years. More ...
