Ride On fundraiser comes to Simi
Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will host its annual fundraising event at 6 p.m. Sat., Sept. 27 in the Air Force One Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.
The event will include Western movie nostalgia, live music, a catered dinner, and live and silent auctions.
Bruce Boxleitner will be the celebrity host. Carl Bell, KNBC Channel 4's weatherman, will be the celebrity auctioneer. Belinda Gail and Curly Musgrave will provide live western music.
Guests will also have the opportunity to win a onecarat diamond by participating in the "Diamond Drop" sponsored by Dejaun Jewelers.
All event proceeds will go to Ride On, which teaches therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities at two locations, in Chatsworth and Newbury Park. Funds will also help build a new permanent home in the San Fernando Valley.
