Casa Pacifica holds fundraiser in Westlake

The Casa Pacifica Angels and hosts Janet and Gregg Van Huisen will present the seventh annual "Spotlight on Style" fashion show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 27 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

This year's fashion show will honor Patricia and Alan Cordover, who have supported Casa Pacifica for many years, including Patricia Cordover's service as the Angels Auxiliary president for two years. The event will feature a runway fashion show with New York models wearing women's fashions by top designers, as well as men's fashions showcased by the winners of last year's male model auction.

The boutiques in the Plaza's atrium will donate 20 percent of event sale proceeds to Casa Pacifica.

The event will offer guests complimentary champagne, opportunity drawings and a live auction.

Auction items include a helicopter tour of Ventura County followed by dinner at the Topa Tower Club; 100 60second commercial slots with Gold Coast Broadcasting; a day on the set of "Desperate Housewives" with a makeover by Academy Awardnominated makeup artist John Elliott, and two VIP passes for the Northern Trust Open, formerly the Nissan Open/L.A Open golf tournament.

All event proceeds will benefit Casa Pacifica, a crisis-care and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
