Here's where to take your old household batteries

In the city of Thousand Oaks, household batteries can be recycled at four locations:

•The Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

•The Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

Note: Do not put used batteries in the book drops. Bins for recycled batteries are inside the libraries.

•The Goebel Senior Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

•Thousand Oaks City Hall, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.
