Thousand Oaks

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 71, at 3 a.m. Sept. 3 at Evenstar Avenue and Hampshire Road; at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 400 block of Gainsborough Road; a male, 49, at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 29 on the northbound 101 Freeway onramp at Moorpark Road; and a male, 28, at 3:47 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 100 block of Teasdale Street (subject was allegedly involved in a hitandrun accident).

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 22, at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 29 on Old Farm Road, west of Montgomery Road; a male, 40, at 1 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane; a male, 48, at 3:35 p.m. Aug. 30 at N. Skyline Drive and Crescent Way; a male, 46, at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 300 block of Erbes Road; a male, 25, at 3:10 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles (subject also allegedly possessed a small amount of marijuana); and a male, 35, at 7:10 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 3100 block of Saddleback Court.

A male, 19, who was previously deported, was arrested and charged with illegally re-entering the country at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the first block of Erbes Road.

A male, 19, was arrested and charged with having sex with a minor not more than three years younger than him, a misdemeanor, at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station.

A female, 40, was arrested and charged with domestic violence, damaging another person's property, causing more than $400 in damages, and violently resisting arrest by fighting with deputies at 9 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Erbes Road.

A female, 23, was arrested and charged with battery and resisting arrest at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 1600 block of Camino Olmo.

For selling alcohol to a minor, a female, 25, was cited at 7:48 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Road. A male, 18, was charged with the same violation at 8:10 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1700 block of Moorpark Road.

A burglar broke into a locker at 24 Hour Fitness, 2595 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., and stole $400 in property on Aug. 30. The burglar used a stolen car key to rummage through the victim's car.

A male, 19, was charged with five counts of petty theft with prior convictions at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 29 in the first block of McAfee Court.

A male, 22, was arrested and charged with forgery and petty theft at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 2 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station.

For allegedly lying to police about his identity to avoid arrest for an active warrant, a male, 49, was arrested in the parking lot of Lupe's restaurant at 1710 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. on Aug. 30.

A female, 20, was charged with obstructing or delaying a police officer at 11:10 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive.

For property damage that exceeded a $400 loss caused by throwing the object, a male, 38, was arrested and charged at 9:42 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road.

A male, 38, was arrested on a charge of grand theft at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A male, 54, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The same subject was cited for drinking in public at 12:22 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 22, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Mervyns at 285 N. Moorpark Road at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 30. In a similar incident, a female, 44, reportedly stole $574 of merchandise around 7 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Landscaping equipment was stolen from a secured storage shed at Conejo Creek North-Willow Bend Park on Sept. 2 or 3.

A male, 41, was cited for trespassing Sept. 2 at East Valley Sheriff's Station regarding an incident that was allegedly committed around 6 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1600 block of Montgomery Road.

A male, 58, was cited for petty theft at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road.

A burglary occurred on Sept. 2 in the 2900 block of Santiago Street.

Gang graffiti defaced property in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road between Aug. 26 and 28.

Shoplifting occurred around 2:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property was stolen on the following dates and places: On Sept. 3 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road; on Aug. 24 or 25 in the 600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between Aug. 1 and 23 in the 200 block of Thoreau Circle; and between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2 in the 2200 block of Townsgate Road.

Around 8,000-10,000 linear feet of copper wire ($1,800) was stolen between Aug. 27 and 29 on the southbound 23 Freeway, west of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A bicycle was stolen on Aug. 29 or 30 in the 400 block of Serento Circle.

Sprinkler heads, lighting equipment and plants were damaged at a funeral chapel in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road on Aug. 28 or 29.

Vehicle break-ins occurred between 9 p.m. and 11:38 p.m. on Aug. 29, unless indicated differently: In the 2800 block of Columbine Court (unlocked); in the 2800 block of Columbine Court (unlocked); in the 2900 block of Sunflower Street (unlocked); in the 700 block of Woodbine Street (multiple unlocked vehicles); in the 700 block of Woodbine Court (unlocked); in the 600 block of Azalea Street (unlocked); in the 600 block of Garland Court (unlocked); in the 700 block of Azalea Street (unlocked); on Aug. 29 in the 3300 block of E. Allegheny Court (passenger window broken); on Aug. 28 or 29 in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive (unlocked); between 4 and 8 a.m. Aug. 31 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (burglar stole a purse before entering vehicle); on Aug. 28 or 29 in the 400 block of Twin Oaks Court (window smashed); and on Aug. 29 in the 2900 block of Columbine Court (unlocked).

Vandals deflated tires on the left side of a vehicle on Sept. 2 or 3 in the first block of Quinta Vista Drive.

The top of a convertible was slashed on Aug. 29 or 30 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive. The damage was $1,000.

Catalytic converters were stolen from a vehicle between 7:50 and 9:40 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 3500 block of Foothill Drive.

On a charge of growing marijuana, a female, 34, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1000 block of Camino Flores. A male, 61, was arrested and charged with the same offense at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1000 block of Camino Flores.

For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 19, was cited at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 4100 block of Erbes Road.

A male, 26, was arrested for masturbating in front of the Sears department store at 145 W. Hillcrest Drive at 12:50 p.m. Aug. 31.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public: A female, 48, at 3:41 p.m. Sept. 1 in the first block of Moorpark Road; and a female, 21, at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 1500 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

For drinking in public, a male, 49, was cited at 12:35 p.m. Aug. 28 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
