Newbury Park

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 30, at 4:12 a.m. Aug. 31 at Fowler Avenue and Lynn Road; and a female, 18, at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 23 at Kimber Road and Wendy Drive (subject was allegedly involved in a hitandrun traffic collision).

Two males, 41 and 47, and a female, 38, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances around 7 a.m. Aug. 28 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino. The younger male subject allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe.

A male, 28, was arrested and charged with inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 4 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.

For selling alcohol to a minor, a female, 20, was cited at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A male, 25, was cited for the same infraction at 8 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 500 block of S. Reino Road.

A male, 42, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at 5 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

On suspicion of stealing various items from the Home Depot on 2745 Teller Road, a male, 60, was cited at 10:57 p.m. Aug. 29.

A thief stole merchandise from Kohl's at 1960 Newbury Road between 5:52 and 5:57 p.m. Aug. 30.

A male, 26, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino.

A car tire was punctured with a sharp object in the CVS parking lot at 123 N. Reino Road between 5:10 and 6:14 p.m. Aug. 30.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Aug. 31 or Sept. 1 in the first block of Cindy Avenue (unlocked); and between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road (unlocked).
