Rock on the Docks comes to Ventura

Rock on the Docks, a live music series, takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays in September at Ventura Harbor Village Marina in front of Milano's Restaurant, Spinnaker Drive, Ventura.

Live bands perform on a floating dock while visitors can watch via kayak, pedal boat, electric boat or from the promenade in the Ventura Harbor Village.

The bands are: Big River, Johnny Cash tribute band, Sept. 13; The Phantom Riders, surf rock, Sept. 20; and J.T. Ross, blues, rock and R&B, Sept. 27.

Intermission includes live comedic acts courtesy of Ventura Harbor Comedy Club.

The event includes free parking and free admission.
