Church has lecture series

Monte Vista Presbyterian Church will host a six to eightweek lecture series beginning Sun., Sept. 21 during the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship services at the church, 3797 W. Lynn Road, Newbury Park.

The talks are about living wisely in today's world based on the book, "Proverbs: Uncommon Sense," from Serendipity House. Small group discussions also will be available for individuals desiring more in-depth study.
