Newbury Park

A male, 46, allegedly kicked a police officer and resisted arrest by trying to roll away and sit on his hands. The subject was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 25 on Newbury Road, east of Ventu Park Road.

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 47, at 6:53 p.m. Aug. 25 at the 101 Freeway, south of Wendy Drive; a female, 45, at 12:20 a.m. Aug. 20 at Old Conejo Road and Wendy Drive; and a female, 48, at 1:52 a.m. Aug. 23 on Ventu Park Road, north of the 101 Freeway.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 32, at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive; a female, 50, at 5:45 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata (subject also possessed a glass smoking pipe); and three males, ages 47, 39 and 37, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (the 47year-old subject possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe, while the 37-year-old subject had a clear glass pipe in his shorts pocket).

A male, 43, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting items valued under $400 at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A home burglary was attempted on Aug. 25 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A similar crime occurred on Aug. 26 in the first block of N. Donald Avenue.

A thief siphoned fuel from a vehicle on Aug. 21 or 22 in the 2600 block of W. Lavery Court.

For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 26, was cited at 4:22 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

More than $400 in property was stolen from Conejo Valley Unified School District's equipment yard at 310 E. Kelly Road on Aug. 23.

For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 23, was cited at 1:28 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino.

A vehicle had $500 in damages after vandalism between Aug. 22 and 25 in the 100 block of Dorena Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between Aug. 21 and 24 in the 3300 block of William Drive (unlocked); on Aug. 23 or 24 in the 400 block of San Vincente Circle (unlocked); and on Aug. 23 or 24 in the 500 block of Martinique Place (unlocked, money stolen).
