DEDICATED TO HELPING OTHERS- Mallory Farrar, 18, was presented with the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts, during a recent ceremony. Her project involved collecting donations of school supplies and assembling backpacks for children of Casa Pacifica, a group home in Camarillo. Farrar is a recent graduate of Newbury Park High School. She'll soon be attending Westmont College.
