Wellness Community starts a garden

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will have a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Garden of Hope at 2 p.m. Sun., Sept. 7 at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. The event will include entertainment, refreshments and opportunities to get involved with the garden. Officials from Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Moorpark and Simi Valley are expected to attend.

The garden will serve as a tribute to those living with cancer and their caregivers. A variety of naming opportunities will be available.
