Help Available on Financial Planning for College
Jason Herner, president of National College Planners, specializes in helping families navigate the process of college planning. From the early stages of college selection to the last hurdle of developing methods to finance higher education, NCP provides a comprehensive service to address every family's needs and concerns.
NCP has worked with hundreds of local families to plan, apply and pay for college. The staff works with both student and parent at every stage of the college planning process.
NCP helps guide students, through a series of one-on-one interviews in the college, major and career selection process to determine which schools and curriculum are best suited for their needs and strengths.
In separate meetings, parents can learn how to create alternative strategies to finance college without tapping into retirement funds or going broke.
Herner uses his personal experiences of attending both state and private universities to demonstrate that a private school tuition is not out of reach for most parents. In fact, often the state schools cost more in the long run than private universities.
Herner's goal is to provide families with the skills to achieve the academic goals of students and the financial goals of parents.
