Newbury Park

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 37, at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 15 at Reino Road and Mayfield Street (subject was allegedly involved in a single vehicle, noninjury traffic accident); and a male, 18, at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 16 at Lynn Road and Edgeview Court (subject allegedly attempted to drive vehicle with a flat tire.)

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 28, at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 100 block of Newbury Lane; a female, 18, at 2:35 a.m. Aug. 19 in the parking lot of Denny's restaurant at 2830 W. Camino Dos Rios; and a male, 24, at 6:05 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 3900 block of Maurice Drive.

A male, 23, allegedly had sex with a 17-year-old female in a public place—the north end of Academy Drive—and was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Aug. 14.

A female, 46, was arrested and charged with inflicting corporal injury to her husband at 5:15 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 5100 block of Via El Molino.

Someone battered and seriously injured another person around 1 a.m. Aug. 17 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

On suspicion of breaking into several homes and vehicles in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, a male, 22, was arrested at 7 p.m. Aug. 19.

A female, 42, allegedly possessed 10 Adderall pills without a prescription at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 100 block of Newbury Lane.

On a charge of providing false information to a police officer, a male, 29, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Aug. 17 at Hillcrest Drive and Paseo Grande.

A female, 28, was cited for providing false identification to a peace officer at 3 a.m. Aug. 20 at Kimber Road and Wendy Drive.

A computer and digital projector were stolen from a church that was using a hotel meeting room in the 400 block of N. Ventu Park Road between noon and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 17.

A vandal caused damages amounting to $6,000 to property belonging to four victims between 2 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 100 block of E. Kelly Road.

A burglar opened a window and put his arm inside a home when he was discovered by someone indoors at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A bicycle was stolen on Aug. 17 or 18 in the first block of San Antonio Street.

A thief stole the lids of 11 trash cans at Dos Vientos Community Park on Aug. 7 or 8.

A couch on private property was set on fire around 6 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 100 block of Reino Road.

A vandal caused $156 in damages to a vehicle between Aug. 3 and 8 in the 1200 block of Rotella Street.
