Art exhibit comes to Santa Paula

The Ag Art Alliance presents the second annual "Art About Agriculture Exhibit" from Sept. 6 through Nov. 16 at the California Oil Museum, 1001 E. Main St., Santa Paula.

The public is invited to the opening reception with music and refreshments on Sat., Sept. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The purpose of the exhibit is to promote artwork that depicts all the facets of agriculture from workers to water, from machinery to soil and to the food that goes on dinner plates. All work in the exhibit will be for sale.

The exhibit features art by 35 artists working in both two and threedimensional media who create art that draws its inspiration from the local agricultural heritage and/or contemporary agriculture.
