Online registration is available for the fourth annual Kids and the Arts Fun Run that will kick off the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival on Sat., Sept. 20 at The Lakes, 2200 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The event will include a 5K, 10K and one-mile fun run/walk. Day-of-race registration begins at 6:30 a.m. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m., the 10K at 8:45 a.m.

First-, second- and third-place medals will be awarded in both men's and women's categories for all age groups. All one-mile fun run/walk participants will receive medals.

Preregistration is $25 and includes a Tshirt. Dayof registration is $30. Proceeds will benefit Alliance for the Arts School Outreach program.
