Thousand Oaks

A male, 45, was arrested on suspicion of robbing Citibank at 33 N. Moorpark Road on July 3, demanding money from bank tellers by stating that he had a bomb and was holding a knife. On Aug. 11, the same man is suspected of robbing Citibank again, but a witness saw part of his license plate. During a parole search, evidence linked the man to the robberies, and he was arrested in the 22000 block of Collins Street in Woodland Hills around 8 a.m. Aug. 13.

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 30, at 8:14 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (subject allegedly involved in a one-vehicle traffic accident); a male, 24, at 11:28 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 700 block of Glen Oaks Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: a male, 23, at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 8 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Auburn Court (subject also allegedly possessed illegal fireworks and was an unlicensed driver); a male, 23, and a female, 21, around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Auburn Court and Thousand Oaks Boulevard (female allegedly possessed a kit containing several needles, a spoon and a pill container with brown residue); a male, 41, at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Conejo School Road (also alleged possession of a smoking device); a female, 51, at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 8 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Conejo School Road (subject was also arrested and charged with possessing controlled substances for sale.)

A female, 49, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 500 block of Meadowrun Street.

A female, 37, was arrested and charged with inflicting corporal injury to a cohabitant at 8:34 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 1100 block of Whitecliff Road.

A male, 20, allegedly spit in someone's face and threatened to "kill" him or her around 4 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 19, allegedly battered her live-in boyfriend around 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Road.

A male, 21, was arrested on charges of burglary and possession of stolen property at 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station for crimes committed Aug. 5 in the 600 block of Paseo la Perla in Newbury Park.

A male, 47, was arrested and charged with grand theft at the East Valley Sheriff's Station on Aug. 8 for a crime that occurred Feb. 19 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 37, was arrested and charged with possession of more than 28.5 ounces of marijuana and three other baggies containing hashish and concentrated hashish at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios.

A male, 22, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 7:20 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Property was stolen from a gym locker between 11:15 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

On suspicion of stealing several bottles of alcohol from Albertsons at 1736 E. Avenida de Los Arboles, a male, 19, was arrested in the 1100 block of the same street at 1:10 p.m. Aug. 13.

A bicycle was stolen Aug. 8 or 9 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 47, at 7:35 p.m. Aug. 11 at Conejo Community Park; a male, 45, at 7:47 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Botanic Gardens picnic area; a male, 19, at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan.

A male, 27, was cited for drinking in public at 8:35 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 600 block of Wilbur Drive.

Conejo Elementary School suffered about $640 in vandalism damages between Aug. 8 and 11.

A vandal entered a school bus and sprayed the seats with a fire extinguisher at Pinecrest School on 449 E. Wilbur Road. The damage estimate was $250.

Gang graffiti discovered Aug. 10 defaced two areas near Sheffield Place, causing about $20 in damages.

Gang graffiti ($200 in damages) defaced a business wall in the 1100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Aug. 9 or 10.

Property was stolen from a construction site between Aug. 8 and 11 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A similar crime happened to the same company on July 18.

Shoplifting occurred at Albertsons on Avenida de Los Arboles around 1:35 p.m. Aug. 12.

A purse was stolen between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A wallet was stolen from a purse at Longs Drugs, 1012 S. Westlake Boulevard between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12.

Fraudulent use of an access card occurred on July 7 in the 1400 block of Moorpark Road but was only recently reported. A similar crime occurred between Aug. 10 and 13 in the 1100 block of Del Verde Court.

A thief damaged property and stole a key box between Aug. 9 and 11 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

Vandals damaged property with spray painted graffiti and paint balls on Aug. 11 or 12 in the 5500 block of Partridge Court.

Vandals caused more than $400 in property damage in the 500 block of Marin Street on Aug. 13 or 14.

Property was stolen from a front yard between 10:20 and 10:50 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 4900 block of Pathfinder Avenue.

Property was stolen from the front yard of a home in the 1500 block of Fairmount Road between 9:45 and 10:03 a.m. Aug. 13.

Property was stolen on Aug. 9 or 10 in the 200 block of Lombard Street.

A burglar attempted to steal money from a coin-operated washing machine on Aug. 12 or 13 in the 2000 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A home was burglarized between Aug. 5 and 11 in the 1200 block of Calle Las Trancas.

Burglars forced their way into a garage and stole property on Aug. 10 in the 500 block of Avenida Del Platino.

Property was stolen from a laundry room between Aug. 11 and 13 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Aug. 1 in the 3600 block of Consuelo Avenue (unlocked); Aug. 13 or 14 in the 3000 block of Teal Court (unlocked); Aug. 6 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 1 and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road; Aug. 9 or 10 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road (unlocked); between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Janss Mall Car Wash on Moorpark Road or in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A truck window and mirror were smashed between 12:30 and 12:45 a.m. Aug. 11 in the 800 block of Calle Fresno.

A vandal caused $600 in damages to a car on Aug. 9 in the 700 block of St. Charles Drive.

A vehicle windshield was smashed on Aug. 7 or 8 in the 2800 block of Velarde Drive.

A vehicle's rear window was smashed on Aug. 7 or 8 in the 1800 block of Marian Avenue.
