Union leader's criticism of Dunn went too far

I read the caustic letter that Arleigh Kidd wrote describing Mike Dunn as a person who lacks integrity, is indecent and most of all a liar.

He describes himself as an honest exMarine who has never broken his vows of upholding the Constitution, who has integrity and is a decent person.

From what I read, Kidd calls Dunn a liar who spreads untruths because he called Arleigh Kidd and Susan Falk "union bosses."

My goodness, are not union leaders bosses? Is this so grave an accusation as to completely trash a man for semantics?

One wonders at the character of a person who calls another terrible names but claims to be above reproach with impeccable integrity. Arleigh Kidd is executive director of the teachers union but is so sensitive as to vehemently trash Mike Dunn for using the term union boss.

One wonders who lacks integrity and character.

I hope Mr. Kidd remembers back when he was just a teacher, the Golden Rule, "Do unto others." Greg Lee Newbury Park
