Conejo Players Theatre to hold auditions for 'Snow White Goes West'

Conejo Players Theatre will hold auditions for "Snow White Goes West" at 7 p.m. Sun., Aug. 31, and 7:30 p.m. Mon., Sept. 1 and Tues., Sept. 2 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road.

The musical, an homage to the classic fairy tale, takes place during the California gold rush.

Auditions are open to adult and teenage actors. Males will be expected to sing either baritone or tenor. Those trying out should prepare a one-minute standard musical theater song. A pianist will be provided. Instrumentalonly prerecorded CD tracks are okay. Bring an extra copy of sheet music.

Auditions will also include readings from the script and learning a short dance routine. Wear comfortable clothes and proper shoes. No appointment is necessary.

Performances are Nov. 22 through Dec. 13. No conflicts are accepted for performance dates. There is no pay.
