Submit art calendar listings

The Ventura County Arts Council and the California Arts Council have set Fri., Oct. 3 as the eighth annual California Arts Day, coinciding with National Arts and Humanities Month.

Events happening during the 10-day celebration, Oct. 3 through 12, will be listed in the Calendar of Events brochure. Artists, nonprofit community arts organizations, libraries, museums and clubs are invited to submit information about their activities during the festival for inclusion in the brochure.

The deadline to submit listings is 5 p.m. Mon., Aug. 25.
