Serving in Uniform

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher K. Adams, along with the members of Patrol Squadron 9 (VP-9) "Golden Eagles" stationed at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, recently deployed to Ali Air Base, Iraq.

VP-9 replaced Patrol Squadron 47 following its sevenmonth deployment and will assume its sister squadron's mission in Iraq.

Adams is a 2004 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and the son of Sue and George Adams of Thousand Oaks.
